# Out Duty Request

An out of duty request for attendance is a formal application by an employee to be excused from work due to personal reasons or emergencies, seeking approval for the absence.

### OD Request Rules: <a href="#od-request-rules" id="od-request-rules"></a>

Only office employees are able to raise OD requests.

If an employee leaves the office for official work during working hours for either a half-day or a full day, they will be able to raise an OD request.

Employees are able to raise a request within the month or within 2 days.

Once the OD request is approved it will be regularized.

If the OD request is rejected by the manager, then it will be considered as leave or LOP.

If OD request is not approved within 7 days, it will be auto approved.
