# Start Offboarding Process
The term "start offboarding process" typically refers to the actions taken by an organization when an employee is preparing to leave their position. It involves the commencement of various tasks.
### Start Offboarding Process
Once you configure offboarding task you can start offboarding process
Go to resignation and Click on **Start Offboarding** button
Once you click on **Start offboarding** button, Offboarding process will start and task assign to assigned user or team
User login with his login id & password and go to Offboarding app who has assigned offboarding task
Go to resignation and click on **employee name** whose offboarding process is started
Complete assigned task and click on **Save** button
Once all offboarding task are completed you need to go to Completion menu
Before completing offboarding process shows **In progress** status
Once you click on Complete button offboarding process is completed and employee is offboarded
Once employee is offboarded then you can see Offboarded employees in **offboarded employees**
