# Resource Allocation

First you need to allocate resources for the project, go to allocation.

To allocate resource, click on +Allocation.

Fill up details and save it.

If there is a holiday or weekly off allocated in the month, for those days, the project will not be allocated, and it will show as blank.

If the working hours are 9, and you allocate a project for 8 hours, it will show 8 hours for the project and 1 hour as free.

Additionally, it will display the total capacity based on working hours, along with the allocated and free hours.

You can search resource allocation by project name, Resource name, Department and its allocation date.

If the project lead wants to deallocate a resource from the project, they can click on the 'Clear' button.

Project leader can allocate multiple resources in project.
